Md. Asaduzzaman is an accomplished urban and regional planner with extensive experience in governance, sustainable development, and policy research. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning and Governance and Development, he has worked across national and international projects, focusing on urban policy integration, sustainable transportation, climate resilience, and capacity building for local governance.
As a Fellow of the Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP), Asaduzzaman has played a key role in strategic planning initiatives that promote sustainable urbanization and environmental management. His expertise extends to Geographical Information Systems (GIS), policy analysis, and data-driven decision-making, which he has applied in collaboration with UN-Habitat, JICA, GIZ, and government agencies.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to urban policy development, facilitated multi-stakeholder engagement, and led research-driven initiatives to advance evidence-based planning. His strong analytical skills, combined with technical proficiency in GIS, Python, and data visualization, enable him to address complex urban challenges.
