Ms. Mansi Sachdev has over two decades of experience in urban and regional planning, leading transformative projects in land use planning, spatial development, disaster resilience, and smart city initiatives across multiple geographies. Her expertise lies in integrating strategic planning with sustainable development to create resilient urban environments. She has worked extensively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration among planners, engineers, and architects to deliver impactful solutions.
A certified Public Participation Practitioner, Ms. Sachdev has designed and facilitated stakeholder engagement processes, including community workshops, public consultations, and policy dialogues. Her international project portfolio spans the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and India. At UN-Habitat, she played a key role in guiding teams toward spatially strategic and climate-responsive development planning.
Currently, Ms. Sachdev is a core team member developing the Creative Redevelopment Framework for the Government of India, supported by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, to advance urban renewal efforts. Her work reflects a deep commitment to sustainable urbanization, leveraging global best practices to drive policy and planning solutions that enhance urban resilience and liveability.
